Happy Birthday, Grandma!

The beautiful blonde on the left is my mother. Lori (my baby sis) just cut mom's hair off and I think it looks pretty cool. Grandma (Willene Fulton) is on the right. We just spent Sunday lunch at her house. My favorite times have been spent at my Grandparents house on Sundays. Grandma knows all our favorite foods and that is the first thing I do...after kissing her on the cheek...is checking each pot on the stove to see who was the special one this Sunday. Yesterday was my special day. We had spaghetti. YUM! It is my fav and she could list every body's if you asked her. And let me tell you...there are ALOT of us!

Groundhog's day has been an odd day for me since I was little. Who sits around waiting for a groundhog to wake up and tell us what the weather is going to be like? It is kind of silly if you asked me. Feb. 2nd is a special day for me because it is my Grandma's birthday. She will be 77!! I know...I know...she doesn't look 77. She is as active as any grown woman I know...well my other grandmother is too...but I will post about her on her bday.

Grandma is a beautiful jigsaw puzzle. I say that because she loves to put puzzles together. She loves family history and she has instilled in me the importance of know where you come from ...who your family IS....and boy does she know. Grandma is a walking history book and I love to sit with her and talk about who is who. She is also a wonderful seamstress. She can fix anything and patches everyone's pants with great ease. Where one of are there she is. Grandma is a busy woman and continues to support her family anyway she can. I love you grandma! I can only hope to be as rich as you are in life and family. There is nothing worth more value than a woman's family she has sewn together with love. Happy Birthday, G-mama!

I took some pictures at Grandma's house while we were there recently in the snow. Here are a few of the farm....

I am so blessed to have spent and still spending so many days on this farm. So many wonderful memories. I love seeing my boys running on the same land I have grown to love and call HOME all my life.

Frozen in Time....below you see the most beautiful thing to me...BIG GREEN TRACTOR. This tractor was (is) my Grandaddy's. Grandaddy has been gone now for 5 years. Oh how I miss him. The tears are coming as I type. His laugh, his smile, the way he made us all feel like his ONLY grandchild, his STORIES, and the way he would stand at the edge of the porch and watch us drive away. I swear I still see him standing there with his big strong hands griping the railing and then turning to enter the house. Oh how I miss him.....His memory is forever frozen in my mind. All my love to my Grandaddy.
